What the heck is this world coming to. With the failing Iraq recovery effort and the Israel conflict, something bad seems to be coming right around the corner. The American economy is in horrible state. The few get rich while everyone else gets poor. Being a Republican I really hate to say this but we almost need a Democratic president again. It seems when the nations economy and war hit the US hard we get a Democratic president and the US prospers again. I’m not very out spoken on politics but it just seems lately that the world is headed to hell in a handbag.
Anyways, enough ranting about that. I’ve been playing around more with WordPress and I really am liking this over blogger. There are more options than blogger and it just seems easier to use. The templates are not as customizable but I’m OK with it. I’m really happy I was able to import all my previous posts from blogger. Downside though was it double imported every post. :(
I’m like a kid before Christmas right now. I can’t wait to get that Fiber installed! Less than two weeks till the installation and I’m really excited. Miss T has just shakes her head and tries to understand why I am so happy to get the faster speeds. To her it’s not that exciting.
My parents left yesterday for their first leg of their 3 month trip. I really am going to miss them. It’s difficult cause your so use to them being there and then poof their gone till November. My mom says she’ll be writing us every week or two so least we can communicate through email. I wanted her to hear a song I found for the mother/son dance during the wedding. It’s called “A song for Mama” by Boyz II Men. It’s very beautiful and seems right.
